Summer's over. Your sunglasses stay.
September. Sunscreen slowly makes its way back into the cupboard. Often sunglasses do too. But why is that?
UV radiation doesn't stop when summer ends. Even in autumn — and even on cloudy days — our eyes are exposed to UVA and UVB radiation. We protect our skin all year round. Our eyes deserve the same attention.
Light or dark lenses? It says nothing about protection.
A dark lens does not automatically provide better protection against UV radiation. Even a subtly tinted lens can offer excellent UV400 protection. It's the UV filter in the lens that counts, not the colour. UV400 lenses block virtually all UVA and UVB radiation up to 400 nanometres. And especially in autumn, good sunglasses are surprisingly relevant. The sun is lower, the light becomes sharper, and glare on wet roads, water, and glass can be extra bothersome.
Polarised. You'll notice the difference..
Where UV400 protects against UV radiation, polarisation provides more visual comfort. Polarised lenses reduce annoying glare and provide a calmer, clearer image with more contrast. Exactly what you want with a low autumn sun.
UV400 protects. Polarisation brings clarity.
That's why SORELL sunglasses combine UV400 protection with polarised lenses.
Designed for clear vision. Made to be worn all year round.
